Quick Indian fried rice - Healthy version

SOUTH INDIAN STYLE FRIED RICE

My fried rice style is unique and easy, made especially for beginners. This would be a good starter if you love Indian food and its also vegetarian. You can add any vegetables you like, the more vegetable, the better. All vegetables have a lot of health benefits and nutrients to help with your body's system. Follow the recipe below and start living a healthy lifestyle! Good luck people!!


Ingredients:
  • 3 Carrots
  • 1 cup frozen baby peas
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Chilli/Sambar Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Asofoetida
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp oil
Method:
  1. Collect all ingredients.
  2. Chop carrots and onions into small pieces.
  3. Put peas in a bowl and let it sit so it softens.
  4. Light the stove.
  5. Place pan or wok of your choice.
  6. Put oil in the wok and let it heat up.
  7. Add cumin and asofoetida powder.
  8. Add the chopped onions and saute it.
  9. Wait for the onions to thoroughly cook and add turmeric powder and mix.
  10. Add carrots to the mixture.
  11. Then add the peas.
  12. Place lid on wok and let it simmer for 1 minute.
  13. Open the lid and add salt and mix again for 1 minute.
  14. Add Chilli/Sambar powder.
  15. Add cooked rice to the mixture and mix.
  16. Transfer to the serving bowl and enjoy!!!!
