MOUTH-WATERING SPRING ROLL, COME ON!!!

TASTY VEG SPRING ROLL

Ingredients: 
  • 3 Potatoes
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp fennel
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 4 tbsp oil for frying, 1/4 C oil for frying
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp chilli powder
  • 20 spring roll pastry sheets
  • 2 diced onions
  • 1/4 capsicum (any colour)
  • 1 C Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2  chopped purple cabbage
Method:
  1. Wash capsicum and chip into little pieces.
  2. Heat the pan.
  3. After heated, then add oil and let it heat up.
  4. When oil is ready, add mustard, fennel and cumin and mix.
  5. Add onion and mix
  6. then add chilli powder.
  7. Take a new saucepan, heat it up and add oil.
  8. When oil is ready, add cabbage to it and mix well.
  9. Then close with a lid on low flame, for 10 min, to allow cabbage to cook thoroughly.
  10. when cabbage is cooking, wash the potatoes and boil.
  11. then peel potato skin and mash until smooth.
  12. Add potato to gravy with cabbage.
  13. Prepare pastry sheets.
  14. Take a spoonful of mixture and place it upper-mid part of the pastry sheet.
  15. Add around a tsp cheese on top and wrap the pastry as you like.
  16. Heat up a fry pan, add the rest of the oil. Wait for the oil to heat up.
  17. After the oil is ready, fry the rolls until they are golden brown.
  18. Serve with sour cream, mayonnaise or tomato sauce and enjoy!!!
