EASY SPONGE CAKE RECIPE

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 2 C self raising flour
  • 75g unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Crack the eggs and add sugar in the blender.
  3. And blend.
  4. Add butter to the blender and start blending.
  5. Add the flour a bit at a time and blend well until smooth.
  6. Add thickened cream and blend for creamy taste.
  7. Cover the baking tray with oil to bake.
  8. Pour the batter on the tray and fill it.
  9. Place the tray in the oven for 20-30 min until golden brown.
  10. Serve with ice cream, whipped cream or custard.
